A.R.T. launches Reading Resources: Rirkrit Tiravanija
A.R.T. is thrilled to announce the launch of our new teaching guide, Reading Resources: Rirkrit Tiravanija.
As the eighth installment in the series, this guide invites educators and learners to explore Rirkrit Tiravanija's work and creative methods.
Tiravanija's practice insists that an artwork's meaning arises in its collective production and use. This teaching guide explores Tiravanija's tools for asking "What forms community?" and "How can a community undo those forms?"
Reading Resources: Rirkrit Tiravanija was developed by Wendy Tronrud (A.R.T. Education Advisor) in collaboration with A.R.T. and students from her Masters in Teaching class at Queens College, City University of New York.
This program of A.R.T. is supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, the H.W. Wilson Foundation, and many individual supporters.
We are proud to create more egalitarian access to the arts by
collaborating with artists whose work is committed to reading and the
printed book.
Please consider adding your support to theirs by making a tax-deductible contribution today.
